Svetoslav Slavchev

Actor

Svetoslav Slavchev graduated Acting for Drama Theatre at the Lyuben Groys Theatre College in 2014 in the class of Prof. Nadezhda Seykova.

Between 2001 and 2007 he was performing in productions of the State Puppet Theatre – Gabrovo and Lovech Drama Theatre. In 2022 he was a team member of the documentary production “Six Stories from the Sixth Section” directed by Neda Sokolovska under the project of the Municipality of Gabrovo.

He has been part of the theatre company since 2005. Some of the roles Svetoslav has played in Theatre productions are:

The lawyer Dr. Petrovich in “Grieving Family” by Branislav Nushic, directed by Miodrag Dinulović (Serbia), 2003;

Bobo in “COOL@Sladurite.com” by Anna Petrova, directed by Nadia Asenova, 2003;

The apprentice in “Masters” by Racho Stoyanov, directed by Petrinel Gochev, 2005;

Argos, Zetes and Calais, Castor and Pollux, Idmon in “The Golden Fleece” by Radoy Ralin, directed by Irina Klishevskaya (Ukraine) and Dimo Dimov, 2005;

Lying Sabi in “Village, village, damn you, village” by Chudomir, director: Nevena Miteva, 2010;

Andrea Benkov in “The Iron Candlestick” by D. Talev, directed by Nevena Miteva, 2011;

Doctor Caius in “Falstaff and the Merry Wives of Windsor” by Shakespeare, director: Dimo Dimov, 2012;

Mercutio, Lord Montague, the Apothecary, etc.. in “Romeo and Juliet” by Shakespeare, director: Petrinel Gochev, 2013;

The Alien in “Annie and the Alien”, author and director: Nevena Miteva, 2014

The young lover in “The Imaginary Invalid” by Moliere, director: Nikolay Urumov, 2017;

The Slender; the Father in “On the First Bulgarian Kingdom: The Hermit” by Anna Petrova, director: Petrinel Gochev, 2018;
