Nadezhda Petkova graduated from Lyuben Groys Theatre College in the class of Georgi Novakov and Ivet Radulova in 2009. She has been part of the theatre company since 2011. Further to that, she participated in “Vasa Zheleznova”, a performance of Konstantin Kisimov Veliko Tarnovo Music and Drama theatre (dir. Kalin Angelov), in the roles of Lipa and Anisya.

The Mother and Queen Yolanda in “Joan of Arc” by Jean Anouilh, director Petrinel Gochev;
Toaneta in “The Imaginary Invalid” by Jean-Baptiste Molière, director Nikolay Urumov;
“The Comedian”, a one-man show based on the novella by John L’Oroux, director Nevena Miteva;
The Wife of the Master and Grandmother in “On the First Bulgarian Kingdom: The Hermit” by Anna Petrova and Petrinel Gochev, director Petrinel Gochev;
Tsanka in “Lamia is the Round Dance” on folklore eroticon, directed by Vasil Duev.
Nadezhda is the winner of the following nominations and awards:
Nomination “IKAR” for a best supporting actress for the Nurse in “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, dir. Petrinel Gochev;
BGMOT 2018 Award for “The Comedian”, a one-man performance based on the novella by John L’Oroux, director Nevena Miteva;
New Horizons Award for the roles of the Master’s Wife and Grandmother in “On the First Bulgarian Kingdom: The Hermit” by Anna Petrova and Petrinel Gochev, director Petrinel Gochev, European Festival of Traveling Theatre, Slivnitsa;
Nadezhda is one of the leaders of the Cat’s House Theatre School at Racho Stoyanov DramaTheatre.
