Stoyan Rumenin graduated Acting for Drama Theatre at the Paisii Hilendarski University in Plovdiv, in the 2009 class of Associate Professor Ivan Nalbantov. In 2023 he has graduated the MFA in Performing Arts (Directing) program of the National Academy of Theatre and Film Art.
From 2011 to 2018 Stoyan worked as a full-time actor at the Municipal Theatre “Lyubomir Kabakchiev”, Kazanlak. There he participated with roles in a number of productions, including:
The Storyteller, The Man and The Rhino in the production “Tales of Passed Times”, director: Sabi Sabev;
The Brother in “The Snake’s Wedding” (non-verbal performance), director: Nadia Asenova;
Ali Aga in “The Iron Candlestick”, director: T. Boyanov;
A in “Fans”, director: Nikolay Gunderov;
Harry in “Titanic Orchestra”, director: Dimitar Stefanov;
Drago, Georgi Markov and Chorus in “Absentia Reports”, director: Blagoy Boychev.

In 2020, Stoyan guest starred as Grigory Smirnov in the production “Love Jokes” by the Drama Theatre Lovech (based on A. P. Chekhov’s “The Bear”), director: Yosif Surchadzhiev.

In October 2012, Stoyan won the second place in the Sonic B.A.N.G original music contest with the piece “Desert”, and a year later he won the third place in the same original music contest with the piece “Human’s world”.
